Standard 10″x2.5″ 6-stage water filtration cartridge. Cartridge consists of one-micron filter pad, KDF55, KDF85, GAC, ion exchange resin, and another one-micron pad. Removes hundreds of contaminants from your drinking water. KDF is mix of copper and zinc. KDF 55 and KDF 85 are mixes of these 2 materials in different proportions. GAC is a granular activated carbon, which is a crushed and then granulated carbon. Granulated carbon uses absorbtion mechanisms to remove many different contaminants from water.
